Restaurant Manager Consultant - Midrand
GAAP Point of Sale is recruiting a Restaurant Manager Consultant, based at our Midrand office. The successful applicant will be reporting to the National Training Manager or their nominees at GAAP where applicable.
List of Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
Support – Understanding client requirements and using the point-of-sale features to help the clients manage their business
Training – Online, classroom, and onsite
Point of Sale Setup – Creating menu layouts according to client specifications
General operational duties assigned as required.
Minimum Requirements Competencies:
- Basic understanding of stock movement within the hospitality sector
- Working management or senior position experience in the sit down and/or QSR restaurant sector
- Reliable car (Insured for business use before commencement date)
- Valid driver’s license
- Can work with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
- Computer literacy (essential)
- Can work independently and achieve goals without constant supervision while working remotely
- Punctual, reliable, and presentable
- Work well under pressure
- Fluent in English
- Good attention to detail
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Good telephone etiquette
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Working from home will require an office setup with a stable internet connection
- Must be able to work in a hybrid set-up between home and office
- Knowledge of Sales Force (advantageous).
